This is the Detroit-Superior Bridge. It is also known as the Veteran's Memorial Bridge. Beneath it is the Cuyahoga River and an area known as "The Flats." It is in Cleveland,
Ohio, and is near Lake Erie.
This bridge interests me because it connects Superior Avenue with Detroit Avenue and W.25th Street. According to a for high crime areas, Detroit Avenue and W.25th Street make the list. That area is in the background of this photo. That is interesting to know because when shooting pictures for this blog, I rode my bike in that area. It was broad daylight when I did it, but I was not fearful.
clevelandbridges.blogspot.com The area on the other side of the bridge, along Superior, is more upscale. It has some nice restaurants on the side streets.
